Lonerism is not a collection of psychedelic freak outs rather a collection of controlled psychedelic slow burns through the fat, swirling guitars in Endors Toi (track two).  This sound would even make Swervedriver

Parker’s vocals keep an emotional distance that serves a thematic purpose.

This great Aussie band are winding up their Parklife tour still to play in Melbourne and Adelaide before setting off overseas to play in sold out venues.
