We all know who Banksy is, however we don’t know what he looks like!!

Eccentric Thierry Guetta, a Los Angeles based Frenchman and amateur film maker sets out to contact the likes of Banksy, Shephard Fairey, Invader and many more to create a documentary that films these street artists in the process of creating their work.

He succeeds in getting them on board and befriending these guys, following them all around the world, even assisting them in creating their works of art in the most unlikely (yet cool) locations.

Camera shy Brit Banksy soon realises that Thierry is a lousy film maker and had no intention in turning the thousands of hours of footage into a coherent doco!!!

In a strange turn of events Banksy decides to use the footage as well as his own added material to tell the story of Thierry’s journey in this project.

Furthermore with the encouragement of Banksy, Thierry becomes a recognized street artist himself, known as Mr. Brainwash.  Hosting massive scale exhibitions.

If you are interested in street art and the obsession and secrecy behind the greats, this is a great documentary to watch.
